HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! ! !

This is a update for the past couple of weeks :) We had a great first V-day together as a couple! We didn’t really plan much. Jake got Nicole a rose and some ice cream. Nicole on the other hand gave Jake more than just a teddy bear…she gave him the 14 days of Valentine’s day! ! Every day closer to Valentine he was given something cute like, ” we make a ding dong couple!” and with it a whole box of ding dong cupcakes! ! Others included a big hunk, snickers, twix, a toy boat for “dream boat” a smart cookie, a bag full of gummy banana’s, sweet tarts and much much more. ON V-day the bear was the biggest surprise. Inside one of the eggs was HIS WEDDING RING! ! ! He was not really expecting that at all and was so so happy to be given such a great gift! ! Now all the girls will finally leave him alone and he is all Nicole’s! ! !

V-day also included a picnic inside with pizza, cake and ice cream with some apple cider! We made it cute and it was tons of fun! ! Other than that Jake has started working on his basketball skills by being embarrassed over and over again as he goes and plays basketball with his awesome brother in laws and friends. Nicole has finally let homework take over her life and is engulfed by it! Only 10 more days of teaching and it will all be done! !

Things here have been good the past couple of weeks :) we have had a ton happen! ! Went to a couple of Jazz games where they lost both of them :( lame…the lose of Jerry Sloan was the saddest thing in Jakes life and he has still been trying to get over the lose.  The wedding plans are coming along great!  Nicole finally picked out some awesome shoes to wear with her dress and then went to the store to get her dress all fitted.  She has been so busy these days with school and the wedding plans that its great to get this all done early!

Jake got his tux all picked out and fitted for that too. Its probably a bad thing we did it so early because he is planning on gaining at least 10 pounds before the wedding and then losing that to make a awesome 6 pack for his sweetheart! ! he might be there for the wedding seeing as how on facebook he is MAYBE attending…wonder how that is going to work…

We have just been enjoying going through this time in our lives and its very fun! ! We are greatful for all the help that we have been given and for all the love and support. Sorry we haven’t had a lot of time to hang out with friends and family as much as we would like. Its hard having Nicole in school all day and doing homework all night and with Jake working the two jobs at the gas station and hotel. Not to worry though…very soon we will be free more than ever and the rest of the year is going to be a PARTY! ! ! !

We have now officially fixed a date on our wedding! ! We got our parents together and talked about who is going to be around and when is best and have fixed the day of MAY 14th, 2011! ! We are so excited and happy that its set and we can move forward with everything! ! hmmmm lets see…5/14/11 easy or hard to remember…ha ha nothing really special about it, nothing catchy or easy either. Great I am bound to forget this some day ha ha ha

Welcome everyone to our new web page ! ! ! We are very new to this but will try our best to update you on whats going on in our lives and post many pictures as well! ! Were grateful for Skyler and Janelle for making this for us and hope that you guys like it. We are so very happy and are looking forward to being newlyweds! !

So far we are thinking on the date being June 4th. It all depends on what we are going to do with going to Alaska and Nicole’s graduation and finding a new job…things like that. She did recently go to a wedding expo and got some great ideas. Anyways there isn’t much more than to say welcome and enjoy! ! Have fun and keep this page exciting for us please! ! Love you! !
